Dr. Analpa Paranjpe

Dr. Analpa Paranjpe is a pioneering figure in the field of psychology and special education, known for her self-made journey from modest beginnings to becoming a beacon of support and transformation for children with learning challenges. With a Ph.D. in Psychology and a specialization in special education, she has dedicated over three decades to empowering students, educators, and families through inclusive educational practices.


As the Founder and Director of Srujan Psycho-Educational Consultancy in Pune since 1993, Dr. Paranjpe has led a wide array of initiatives, including assessments and certification for learning disabilities (LD), teacher and parent training, counseling services, and public awareness programs. Her work bridges the gap between psychological assessment and meaningful intervention, fostering inclusive learning environments in schools and communities.


Dr. Paranjpe has held several prestigious positions, including Director of the Morris Trust and Principal of the Center for Special Education in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She has served as visiting faculty for master’s programs in psychology at various institutions, and has played a crucial role in setting up resource centers across schools in India. A passionate advocate for inclusive education, she has trained hundreds of teachers to address the critical shortage of professionals equipped to work with children with LD.


Her commitment goes beyond classrooms. She has counseled countless parents navigating the challenges of raising children with academic and emotional needs and continues to offer remedial support for struggling students. Dr. Paranjpe has both organized and participated in national and international conferences on inclusive education, furthering dialogue and best practices in the field.


Her contributions have earned her significant accolades, including the International Norwegian Fellowship, the Best Teacher Award by Rotary Club, and recognition by the Embassy of India for her outstanding work in special education.


A twice-diagnosed cancer warrior, Dr. Paranjpe brings profound empathy and resilience to her counseling work with women undergoing cancer treatment—a deeply personal extension of her lifelong mission to heal and help.
